About the Coiste Parent Association
Coiste na dTuistí is the Parent Association of our school, Gaelscoil Uí Fhiaich. Every parent / guardian who has a child attending the school is automatically a member. During the school term the Coisusually meets once a month.
The Coiste is the structure through which parents in the school can work together for the best possible education for their children. The Coiste works in partnership with the Principal, staff, Board of Management and whole school community for the betterment of the children in the school.
The role of the Coiste is to support and empower parents to be active in the best interest of their children’s educational lives. The Coiste also have a fundraising function.

Annually the Coiste host refreshments for Confirmation, Holy Communion, Slán do Rang 6, Junior Infants open morning, Rg 5&6 language taster classes amongst other fundraising activities.

Coiste na dTuistí - Parents' Association
Is grúpa tuismitheoirí/caomhnóirí iad Coiste na dTuistí a oibríonn go deonach le rudaí deasa a eagrú ar son na scoile! Is baill iad na tuismitheoirí/caomhnóirí go léir sa scoil ar Choiste na dTuistí, Gaelscoil Uí Fhiaich. Buaileann an coiste le chéile le linn na scoilbliana le hábhair scoile a phlé agus le h-imeachtaí a eagrú ar son na scoile. Bíonn an príomhoide Neil i láthair ag na cruinnithe seo freisin. Tá lán fáilte roimh aon tuismitheoir ar bith sa scoil teacht ag obair linn ar an gcoiste agus Iarraimid oraibh teacht chuig an cruinniú bliana/AGM. An príomh aidhm atá ag Coiste na dTuistí ná le modh cumarsáide dearfach a bheith ann idir tuismitheoirí/caomhnóirí agus foireann na scoile i gcónaí.
Gach bliain, eagraíonn an coiste Súilóid Scanrúil ag Oíche Shamhna, Aonach Ceardaíochta na Nollag, Díolacháin Cístí, Lá Spraoi Clainne agus i bhfad níos mó.....!!! 
The Parents' Association of Gaelscoil Uí Fhiaich is a group of parents / guardians who have volunteered their time and support towards the activities of the Association in order to enhance the life of our students. All parents and guardians of students currently attending Gaelscoil Uí Fhiaich are members of the Association. We meet during school term to discuss issues, projects and fundraising. These meetings are also attended by the Principal, Neil. Any parent is welcome to join the committee and we encourage you to attend our AGM each year. The main purpose of the Parents' Association is to act as a channel of communication between the parents/guardians and the staff and functions of the school.
Each year we organise a Halloween Spooky Walk, a Christmas Craft Fair, a Cake Sale, a Family Fun Day and much more !!!!
